About the project: This project seeks to make a lasting impact on the lives of people with dementia and their families. By improving access to care, providing education, and challenging societal attitudes, the project strives to enhance the quality of life for all involved.
Aims:
- Improving access to specialized care: Implementing innovative approaches and digital technologies for dementia care, enhancing care quality, and increasing the availability of support tools for caregivers and family members.
- Strengthening caregivers' skills and education: Developing and implementing training focused on enhancing the skills and knowledge of caregivers and professionals in the field of dementia care.
- Eliminating dementia stigma: Changing societal perceptions of dementia, raising awareness of the disease, and reducing the stigma associated with this condition.
Key activities:
- Project Management and Quality Assurance
- Definition of a person-centered, integrated elderly care model on preventing, detecting and treating dementia
- Reskilling and upskilling of elderly care workforce based on the EU Handbook
- Awareness-raising campaign to eliminate the stigma and reduce health inequalities in elderly dementia
- Dissemination and Exploitation Activities
